Why am I being asked to provide my Social Security number? |
| |
CRI is required to provide tax reporting documentation for all U.S. based auditors earning $600 or more annually. Having your Social Security number on file will enable CRI to more efficiently produce the 1099 Form for you in the event that the income you earned by performing CRI shops meets or exceeds the $600 requirement. In addition, verifying your identify via your Social Security number prevents auditors from signing-up for multiple accounts, which ensures a fair and accurate system for all auditors and clients. |

What types of payment options does CRI offer? |
| |
CRI offers direct deposit (to checking or savings accounts) and PayPal payment options to U.S. auditors. |

How are auditors outside the United States paid? |
| |
CRI uses the services of PayPal to remit job payment to international auditors. If you live outside of the United States, you will be prompted to register for a PayPal account from your profile payment page. Job payment through PayPal is processed on a weekly basis following the same guidelines as all other job payment. |

When will I be paid for shops I have completed? |
| |
Shops that are completed and accepted on or before Monday are paid the following week on Friday. For a shop to be considered complete, you must correctly perform all aspects of the shop, as outlined in the clients instructional presentation and Job Information page, and submit the online report by the due date. You can determine whether you have done this correctly by clicking the My History link in the navigation menu on the Auditor website. |

How much does CRI pay per shop? |
| |
Shops offered through CRI are not payed at a flat rate. Shop commission and reimbursement amounts are always posted in the Job Information page. From the Find Jobs page, select the button on the right titled Details (only viewable if you have viewed the clients instructional presentation and passed the test) to view the shop commission and reimbursement (if applicable). |

Miscellaneous |
| |
How long do I have to wait to shop a location again? |
| |
CRIs clients often set up 'no-reshop' restrictions to keep the same auditor from shopping a location too often. If a client has this restriction, and you are in the re-shop period, this will be indicated on the calendar in the My Cart page by not allowing you to select a date for the shop. |

Can I bring my children with me on my mystery shop? |
| |
CRI asks that you please do not bring your children with you on your mystery shop unless the shop pertains to children, which will be stated in the Job Information page. When you are completing your mystery shop, you are representing CRI, and its clients, as a paid independent contractor. A child's presence will prevent you from performing your evaluations to the best of your abilities. For that reason CRI asks that you please refrain from taking your children to work with you. |

Why aren't my emails being answered? |
| |
CRI receives hundreds of emails every day and works diligently to answer each in a timely manner. To cut down on response time, CRI requests that auditors do not send multiple emails regarding the same topic. Anytime you know who the direct Auditor Relations Associate is for the job you are questioning, it is best to email him/her directly (this will greatly improve the response time). The email address for the Auditor Relations Associate can be found at the bottom of the Job Information page for you specific assignment. Most responses will be received within 24 hours. E-mails sent over the weekend will take longer to receive a response. CRI strives to answer all emails within 48 business hours of receipt. |

What should I do if my question was not answered? |
| |
If the preceding information has not answered your question, go back to the Contact page and send CRI a message. Most responses will be received within 24 hours, however a response may take up to 48 hours. |
